Wagering Requirements Explained (VND)

A bonus is not money until it clears its wagering requirement. That sentence explains most complaints about promotions, and the arithmetic takes five minutes to learn.

Wagering Requirements Explained (VND)

Every bonus arrives with a multiplier — 5x, 30x, 40x. That is the wagering requirement, also called rollover, and it is the amount you must stake before the bonus and anything won from it can be withdrawn.

What a wagering requirement is

A turnover target, not a losing target. If you must wager 30,000,000 ₫, that is the total of your stakes — the same million recycled thirty times meets it, and you can finish ahead or behind while doing so.

Check what the multiplier applies to. Bonus only is far better than bonus plus deposit. On a 1,000,000 ₫ deposit with a 1,000,000 ₫ bonus at 30x: bonus-only is 30,000,000 ₫ of turnover; bonus-plus-deposit is 60,000,000 ₫. Same headline, twice the work.

Calculating it in VND

Worked examples
500,000 ₫ bonus at 30x
15,000,000 ₫ to wager
1,000,000 ₫ bonus at 30x
30,000,000 ₫
1,000,000 ₫ bonus at 40x
40,000,000 ₫
1,000,000 ₫ bonus + deposit at 30x
60,000,000 ₫

Put that against your normal stake. At 50,000 ₫ a spin, 30,000,000 ₫ is 600 spins — an evening or two for a regular player, a month for a casual one, and the expiry clause does not care which you are.

Game weighting

  • Slots — usually 100%.
  • Live casino and table games — often 10% or less.
  • Roulette, blackjack, baccarat — frequently 10%, sometimes excluded.
  • Some jackpot slots — excluded.

At 10% weighting, a 30,000,000 ₫ requirement becomes 300,000,000 ₫ of real betting. That is not a bonus you will clear; it is a bonus you will lose while trying.

The max-bet clause

Most bonuses cap the stake per bet while wagering. Exceed it once and the operator can void the bonus and everything won from it. It is enforced automatically and retroactively, which is why it produces the angriest tickets. The trap is autoplay or a feature buy pushing one spin over the cap.

Expiry and order of play

Bonuses expire, commonly 7 to 30 days. Unmet wagering at the deadline means the bonus and its winnings are removed. Check the order of play too — some operators spend your real balance first, so you can lose your own deposit before the bonus is touched.

Whether to take it

Take it when the requirement is on the bonus only, the multiplier is modest, the weighting matches the games you play, and the expiry gives room at your normal stake. When any of those fail, declining and playing with withdrawable cash is the better deal. You are allowed to decline — a bonus you cannot clear is a lock on your withdrawal. Terms are on the bonus page.

Check the current welcome offer and its wagering terms before you deposit.

Frequently asked questions

What does 30x wagering mean?

You must stake 30 times the bonus amount before withdrawing. A 1,000,000 ₫ bonus at 30x requires 30,000,000 ₫ of stakes.

Does wagering apply to the deposit too?

It depends on the offer. Bonus-only is far better; bonus-plus-deposit doubles the turnover for the same headline figure.

Why is my wagering progress slow?

Game weighting. Live casino and table games often count 10% or less, while slots usually count 100%.

Can a bonus be cancelled for one large bet?

Yes. Most bonuses cap the stake per bet while wagering, and the rule is enforced automatically.

What happens when a bonus expires?

The bonus and anything won from it are removed if wagering is incomplete. Windows run from 7 to 30 days.

Should I always take the welcome bonus?

No. If the multiplier is high, the weighting does not suit your games, or the expiry is short, playing with withdrawable cash is better.
